About Glenn Galen

Glenn Galen My art feels photorealistic, but is painted in an impressionist style. It is almost abstract when you look closer.

I sold my first watercolor painting in 1978. I have always been in love with the way watercolor paint flows and mixes freely into abstract textures that you cannot fully control. It enforces a loose and creative style.

In 2019 I began also working in digital media, painting on a high-end computer and using sophisticated digital brushes and tools to create art images not possible with watercolor or oil paints.
